Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer

The Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer team at Children’s of Alabama is a highly specialized group dedicated to delivering exceptional, family-centered cardiac imaging care. Our lab has been Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) accredited since 2015, reflecting our commitment to the highest standards of quality and safety. Our team of six credentialed sonographers brings deep expertise and compassion to every study, specializing in echocardiograms for pediatric patients and individuals with congenital heart disease, from newborns through adulthood.

We provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure echocardiographic imaging for pediatric and adult congenital patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Our sonographers perform studies at Children’s of Alabama, UAB, and multiple hospitals across the Birmingham metropolitan area, ensuring continuity of care wherever our patients are treated. In addition to clinical excellence, our team actively participates in local and national research initiatives, contributing to advancements in pediatric and congenital cardiac care that improve outcomes for patients and families.
