The mission of the KidneyWell Program, under the umbrella of the Pediatric and Infant Center for Acute Nephrology (PICAN) at Children’s of Alabama and UAB’s Department of Pediatric Nephrology and Neonatology, is to provide high level education and evidence-based interventions to clinicians across Alabama who care infants and children at risk for chronic kidney disease.
