EMPLOYEE COMMUNICATIONS - SCM publishes a wide variety of employee communications materials, including the employee newsletter, Our Way. The department also publishes content on Children’s intranet, The Red Wagon. For more information, please contact:

SPEAKER'S BUREAU - Children's routinely provides speakers on a wide variety of pediatric health and safety topics to schools and local and state civic, professional and community groups.

Some of these topics include:

• overview of current health challenges for children in Alabama
• child development
• injury/poison prevention
• weight management/nutrition education
• grief counseling

PHOTOGRAPHY and AUDIO/VIDEO PRODUCTION – CCM provides photography and video services to meet the audio/visual needs of both internal and external customers. Services include assistance with PowerPoint presentations, professional photography, imaging services (photo editing, prints, etc.), and video productions. Video services provided are based on pre-budgeted requests and executive priorities. Advance planning is necessary up to at least two months and sometimes longer depending on content. WEB DEVELOPMENT - CCM can assist with the design and development of web pages for internal departments and programs. Children's Web Team, comprised of representative of both the Information Technology and Corporate Communications and Marketing departments, works with clients through each step of the process.
