Dr. Durant is Associate Medical Director, William A Daniel, Jr. Adolescent Health Center; Associate Professor, University of Alabama at Birmingham; Medical Staff, UAB Hospital and Children's of Alabama. Interests include environmental correlates of physical activity and overweight in youth, efficacy of exercise in prevention of weight gain and racial/ethnic disparities in overweight and obesity.
