Dr. Baxley earned her undergraduate degree from Auburn University in Biomedical Science and Spanish and her medical degree from the University of South Alabama. She completed her residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received the Joe LaRussa Intern of the Year Award and the Michele St. Romain Resident of the Year award. She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association and the Jefferson County Medical Society. She is married to Charlie Baxley, a lawyer at Bradley, Arant, Boult and Cummings. They have two boys and a girl.
