Special Interests
A native of the state of Alabama, Dr. Carter graduated from Auburn University with a BS degree in Biomedical Sciences. He received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Alabama School Of Medicine, and completed his pediatric internship and residency through the Pediatric Residency Training Program at UAB in June 2012. From July 2012 through June 2013 Dr. Carter served as Chief Resident for the Department of Pediatrics in the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. In July 2013, Dr. Carter began private practice with Greenvale Pediatrics-Hoover. Special Interests: Dr. Carter's professional interests include childhood obesity prevention and treatment, and pediatric advocacy.
