Dr. Stone did his undergraduate work at The University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He attended medical school at East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. He completed his internship and residency at The Children’s Hospital of Alabama and joined Vestavia Pediatrics in private practice in July 1999. He is certified in pediatric medicine by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Stone is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, the Jefferson County Pediatric Society and the Jefferson County Medical Society. Dr. Stone is married and the father of two children. His favorite pasttimes are coaching youth sports and exercising.
