As lifelong Alabamians, Dr. Norwood and his wife, Carlyn, are honored to both work at Children’s of Alabama, caring for children in the community they call home. They live in Birmingham with their three children. In his free time, Dr. Norwood enjoys the outdoors and is an avid golfer.

Special Interests
Dr. Norwood is a Clinical Assistant Professor. His specialties include pediatric hearing loss, Cochlear implantation, congenital ear anomalies, microtia repair, pediatric sleep disordered breathing/sleep apnea, acute and chronic sinusitis, and pediatric neck masses. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
