“We are proud to have been a part of this great event for the past 15 years,” said Mary Jean Sanspree, Chair of Boiling N ’Bragging Steering Committee. “Boiling N ‘Bragging allows us to make a significant impact on many children each year by raising awareness for this team’s work while raising funds to support it.”

This event raises money for the Critical Care Transport Program at Children’s of Alabama. Each year, the team transports more than 1,000 critically ill and injured children by helicopter, jet, and ambulance to Children’s or other medical facilities. Team members include highly trained registered nurses and respiratory therapists with the knowledge, understanding, and skills to provide age-appropriate care.

“Our team works every day to save the lives of ill and injured children across the Southeast,” said Jason Peterson, the Director of the Critical Care Transport Program. “It is partnerships like the one we have with Rotary District 6860 that help us to provide care for families at some of their most difficult times.”
