Physicians to Children Celebrates 30 Years as Children’s of Alabama Practice

MONTGOMERY - Physicians to Children celebrated its 30th Anniversary as a Children’s of Alabama pediatric practice. Staff, physicians and members of Children’s of Alabama’s leadership recognized the milestone with a lunch on May 6 at the Physicians to Children office in Montgomery.

Originally founded in 1977, the practice was purchased by Children’s of Alabama in 1996 and relocated to the Taylor Medical Complex in February 2011.  It boasts a close-knit group of physicians and staff who are proud to provide compassionate care for their patients and families. 

Physicians to Children is certified as a Patient Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home is a model of primary care that combines teamwork and information technology to improve patients’ experience of care and reduce costs. Physicians to Children is recognized for its many years of providing quality infant, child and adolescent healthcare to families in Montgomery and surrounding areas.
