Inside Pediatrics Podcast

The practice, founded in 1977, was originally affiliated with Lloyd Noland Hospital. Children’s of Alabama purchased it in 2001. Today, Pediatrics West operates two offices, Bessemer and McAdory, with a combined staff of 10 physicians, all of whom are board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

The practice serves patients ranging from newborns to 18-year-olds. Both offices offer comprehensive patient care including referrals, medication management, diagnostic tests, immunization administrations and other services.

Pediatrics West Bessemer and McAdory proudly received Patient-Centered Medical Home certification from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of primary care that combines teamwork and information technology to improve care, improve patients’ experience of care and reduce costs.
