BIRMINGHAM  - Greenvale Pediatrics recognized its 30-year anniversary as a Children’s of Alabama pediatric practice on July 14th, 16th and 17th at its three office locations. Staff, current and retired physicians, and members of Children’s of Alabama’s leadership celebrated the milestone.

Greenvale Pediatrics was originally founded in Hoover in 1974 by Drs. Glasglow and Donald Palmer, before being purchased by Children’s of Alabama in July of 1996. Today, the practice operates three offices in Alabaster, Brook Highland, and Hoover, serving patients from newborns through young adulthood.

Greenvale Pediatrics proudly maintains its recognition as a Patient Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home is a model of primary care that combines teamwork and information technology to reduce costs and improve patients’ experience of care.
