Children’s of Alabama Named to Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women 2026

Birmingham, Ala. (Feb. 17, 2026)— For the second year in a row, Children’s of Alabama is being recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women 2026 by Newsweek and Plant-A-Insights Group. Newsweek and Plant-A-Insights Group recognized companies based on a nationwide survey of more than 89,000 female employees, evaluating them across 120 key performance indicators, with added weight given to factors such as gender equality, fairness, and inclusion.  The Children’s of Alabama workforce is 86% female, with 65% of the executive leadership team.  Children’s is one of 15 children’s hospitals recognized.
