Changing Oil Changing Lives Campaign to Benefit Children’s of Alabama

Birmingham, Ala. (March 31, 2026) — Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is kicking off its annual campaign to support Children’s of Alabama tomorrow. Throughout April, locations across the state will donate $1 per service to the hospital.

“We are incredibly grateful for Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers’ commitment to Children’s of Alabama," said Chandler Bibb, Chief Development Officer at Children’s of Alabama. “This partnership helps provide a creative outlet for our patients, which helps reduce stress and anxiety and promotes emotional well-being while in the hospital.”

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers has been the sole supporter of the Children’s Art and Expressive Therapy Program. Child Life specialists at Children’s and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Arts in Medicine staff work together to create an environment where patients can use their creative energy and participate in meaningful art activities.

This is the 16th year for this campaign, and it has raised more than $1.5 million for Children’s.
