12th Annual Children's of Alabama Spring Scramble 5K to Benefit Healthy Active Living Initiative and Promote Healthy Habits

BIRMINGHAM — Children’s of Alabama and the University of Alabama at Birmingham Pediatrics Residency Program will host the 12th annual Spring Scramble 5K on Sunday, May 6. The 5K will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Railroad Park at the 17th Street Plaza.

The registration fee is $30 for the general public, $25 for UAB and Children’s employees, and all children under 12 are free with an adult entry. The registration fee covers a race day T-shirt and goodie bag. To register, visit https://runsignup.com/Race/AL/Birmingham/SpringScramble5k. 

Proceeds will benefit the Children’s of Alabama Healthy Active Living Initiative. This initiative promotes healthy lifestyle choices in efforts to fight childhood obesity in the Birmingham community by funding multiple Children’s community advocacy events throughout the year.
