Immunization Philosophy

The physicians at Greenvale Pediatrics believe that immunizations are a vital component in maintaining your child's health. Decades of evidence-based, rigorous research have shown that immunizations recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) are both safe and effective. These preventative measures are critical in protecting your child from serious and potentially life-threatening diseases such as meningitis, measles, hepatitis, pertussis (whooping cough), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), rotavirus, and influenza, while also protecting others with whom your child may come in contact. Greenvale Pediatrics follows and strongly recommends the long- and well-established immunization schedule as recommended by the AAP.
