School Crisis Response Resources
The Amelia Center offers training for schools and other organizations to prepare for the death of a student, staff, or faculty member. Below are immediate resources that your school can utilize in the event of a death. Please feel free to add The Amelia Center as a resource in any information that is given to parents and students.

Schools may add the following statement in any communication that is sent to parents:
The Amelia Center is a place of hope for grieving children, parents and families. The Amelia Center offers individual and family counseling and support groups at no set fee. If you have any questions or would like to set up an appointment, you may contact them at 205-638-7481. Find out more at www.ameliacenter.org.
