Q: What are your office hours?
A:
Our office hours are listed on the Home page. Note that we do have weekend hours. These "after hour" visits are for sick patients only (i.e. no routine physicals/check-ups are done).

Q: How do I make an appointment?
A:
You can call 334-293-5033 to schedule an appointment.

Q: When is my child due for his/her next check-up?
A:
Please see our check-up and immunization schedule section.

Q: I am not sure I want my child to have vaccines. What is your policy on vaccines?
A:
Because we at Physicians To Children feel that vaccines are such an important part of a child's health, we strongly recommend that all children be vaccinated as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Please see our immunization section for more details.

Q: I am about to be a new parent, can I come to visit your practice?
A:
We encourage new parents to schedule a free prenatal visit. At this visit, you can visit our office and meet our physicians. Just call our office to schedule a prenatal conference.

Q: Which hospitals do the doctors go to?
A:
Currently our pediatricians see patients at Baptist East, Baptist South and Jackson Hospital

Q: If I have questions about my child that can be handled over the telephone, what can I expect?
A:
Our receptionists answer the phones to schedule appointments and take messages for our nurses during normal business hours. If you have a question for a nurse or doctor, please provide us with your child's name, birth date and contact phone number where you can be reached during the day. Also, be prepared to provide current symptoms, medicines given, any drug allergies, current weight and a pharmacy phone number. A nurse will call you back as soon as possible to get a more detailed history and address your needs. Please realize, emergency calls will be handled first. If the nurse cannot fully address your question or needs, a doctor will call you back.
