BIRMINGHAM – Children’s of Alabama is offering an opportunity to learn more about careers in pediatric nursing and even interview for open positions at an event later this month. The hospital will host its bi-annual Nursing Career Fair Monday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Bradley Lecture Center at Children’s of Alabama.

The event is designed to provide nurses with information about career opportunities at the only freestanding pediatric facility in Alabama and one of the top-ranked children’s hospitals in the nation.

Interview opportunities, tours and informational materials will be available to all who attend the career fair. Children’s of Alabama nurse managers and human resources representatives will be present to meet with those attending.

The Nursing Career Fair is open to the public, and parking is available in the Children’s 5th Avenue parking deck. Masks are required on the Children’s of Alabama campus, and attendees will have their temperatures checked when they arrive.
