BIRMINGHAM – Pediatrics West welcomes a new doctor and announces the retirement of a longtime Pediatrics West physician.
Taylor McClanahan, M.D., has joined the Pediatrics West Bessemer location and is accepting new patients.
Dr. McClanahan attended Auburn University where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biomedical sciences. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine. McClanahan completed his pediatric residency at Children’s of Alabama.
H. Thomas Smith, M.D., has announced his retirement from Pediatrics West.
Dr. Smith has been a partner at the Bessemer location of Pediatrics West since 2001. He came to the practice after receiving his medical degree from UAB School of Medicine and completing his pediatric residency at the Lloyd Noland Hospital.
