7th Annual “New Year, New You” Reveal Party Set to Benefit Children's of Alabama

BIRMINGHAM  – Mountain Brook-based Meta Fitness Studio will host the seventh annual “New Year, New You” reveal party benefiting the Support and Health in Nutrition and Exercise (SHINE) clinic at Children’s of Alabama on Thursday, July 25, 2019.

“New Year, New You” was founded in 2012 and has raised more than $125,000 to aid the SHINE clinic in addressing the needs of one of Alabama’s most common health issues for children and adolescents – childhood obesity. The SHINE clinic helps reshape the lives of overweight children while also supporting families as they establish healthy habits through a variety of services. The goal of “New Year, New You” is to inspire a community and empower individuals to make a positive impact on those around them.

This year, Jennifer Snyder, of Trussville, will show off the results of her seven-month fitness journey. Snyder is the CEO of Hill Crest Behavioral Health Services. She is the wife of David Snyder and the mother of two teenage boys, Calvin and Gavin. In addition, Snyder co-owns Great Harvest Bread Company in Trussville, where she and her family have resided for over 10 years.

The party will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. at Iron City, 513 22^nd St. S. Birmingham, 35233. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased online. The event will also feature a silent auction, food, drinks and live entertainment.
