BIRMINGHAM – Greenvale Pediatrics welcomes two doctors and announces the retirement of two longtime Greenvale physicians.

Todd Washko, M.D., has joined the Greenvale Pediatrics Alabaster location. After practicing in Missouri, Colorado, Louisiana and South Carolina, Dr. Washko comes to Greenvale Pediatrics with more than 15 years of experience.

Washko attended Tulane University where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in political science. He received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, where he also completed his pediatric residency. Washko is accepting new patients.

Drew Wright, M.D., has moved to the Greenvale Pediatrics Hoover location. He previously worked at the Alabaster location.

Dr. Wright graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) with a degree in biology and received his medical degree from UAB School of Medicine. Wright completed his pediatric residency at the Medical College of Georgia.

Bryson Waldo, M.D., and John Petelos, M.D., have announced their retirement from Greenvale Pediatrics.

Dr. Waldo has been a partner at the Brook Highland location of Greenvale Pediatrics since 1999. He came to the practice after receiving his medical degree from UAB School of Medicine and completing his pediatric residency at UAB.

Dr. Petelos has been a partner at the Hoover location of Greenvale Pediatrics since 1991. He came to the practice after receiving his medical degree from the University of Athens in Greece and completing his pediatric residency at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital.
