Three Community Leaders Join Children's of Alabama Board of Trustees

BIRMINGHAM – Children’s of Alabama has named three new members to its Board of Trustees. Myla E. Calhoun, Anna M. Manasco and Mark J. Tarr have joined the all-volunteer board that helps operate the state’s only freestanding pediatric medical facility.

Ms. Calhoun is president of the Alabama Power Foundation and vice president of charitable giving for Alabama Power. Calhoun is a graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta and The University of Alabama School of Law.

Ms. Manasco is an attorney with Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP. Manasco is a graduate of Emory University, the University of Oxford and Yale Law School.

Mr. Tarr is president and chief executive officer for Encompass Health. Tarr is a graduate of Ball State University and the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

All three new board members reside with their families in Birmingham.
