Children's of Alabama Winter Weather Closings and Delays - 1/16/18 & 1/17/18

UPDATE: Wednesday Clinic and Practice Openings

All Outpatient Clinics at the main hospital and Children's South will open at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17. Children's South Surgery will be CLOSED.

The following practices will open at delayed times on Wednesday:

Pediatrics East (Trussville and Deerfoot) - opening at 8 a.m.

Midtown Pediatrics - opening at 10 a.m.

Vestavia Pediatrics - opening at 11 a.m.

Over the Mountain Pediatrics - opening at 11 a.m.

Pediatrics West (Bessemer and McAdory) - opening at 11 a.m.

Mayfair Medical Group - opening at 11 a.m.

Greenvale Pediatrics (Hoover, Alabaster and Brook Highland) - opening at 11 a.m.

Pell City Pediatrics - opening at 12 p.m.

North Alabama Children's Specialists (Huntsville) - CLOSED

Physicians to Children (Montgomery) - CLOSED

We will continue to monitor the weather and road conditions, and post updates here. You can also call 205-638-7700 for current updates. As always, our Emergency Department will remain open. If you have an emergency, please call 911.

Due to the threat of inclement weather, all Outpatient Clinics will close at 11 a.m. We will still have clinic appointments this morning.

Children’s on 3rd will be closed, but morning patients will be seen at the McWane campus of the hospital (1600 7th Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35233).

As of right now, the following practices are closed or have adjusted hours today:

North Alabama Children's Specialists (Huntsville) - CLOSED

Vestavia Pediatrics - CLOSED

Midtown Pediatrics - closing at 10:30 a.m.

Over the Mountain Pediatrics - closing at 11 a.m.

Pediatrics West (Bessemer and McAdory) - closing at 11 a.m.

Pediatrics East (Trussville and Deerfoot) - closing at 11 a.m.

Pell City Pediatrics - closing at 11 a.m.

Mayfair Medical Group - closing at 11 a.m.

Greenvale Pediatrics (Hoover, Alabaster and Brook Highland) - closing at 11 a.m.

Physicians to Children (Montgomery) - closing at 3 p.m.
