Special Interests
Dr. Vaid is currently the Radiologist-in-Chief and member of the Medical Executive Committee at Children's of Alabama. Dr. Vaid has served on the faculty at UAB and Children’s of Alabama for more than 25 years. He is currently the Ultrasound Medical Director, Chairman of the Ultrasound Quality Assurance Committee, and a member of the Physician Peer Review Committee as well as Credentials committee at Children’s of Alabama. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and is current in his Certificate of Added Qualification in Pediatric Radiology from the ABR. His area of clinical practice is pediatric radiology with special interest in pediatric ultrasound and spine imaging.
