Cerebral Palsy
Olivia was born on June 20, 2012 and began to have seizures when she was 5 weeks old. She was transported to Children's Hospital and had a five-day hospitalization. She was put on seizure medications and it soon became apparent that she was developmentally delayed. She has now been diagnosed with mild Cerebral Palsy. She is a wonderfully happy and pleasant baby. At almost 9 months, she is now attempting to sit up. She receives therapy at home and progress can be seen. We ask for your prayers that she will continue to improve. Olivia has an older sister, Bella, who has a problem with her eyes. She sees a specialist and will be having surgery in the future. We also ask for prayers for Bella, that her problems will be alleviated in the near future.
