What does Children's mean to you, your child and your family? (Max. 2000 characters) : Childrens Hospital of Birmingham means so much to our family, it becomes like a second home. When Katelyn was admitted for two weeks with an infection, everyone was so kind and helpful. We absolutely love the staff and the Childrens harbor has been a blessing as well. They are very family oriented, because cancer just does not affect one family member it affects everybody, The staff was very helpful in educating our other three children about Katelyn’s diagnosis. They make it as fun as possible for children to be in a hospital, and just as comfortable for the family members to stay there. Childrens Hospital of Birmingham is and will forever be a big part of our lives.
