Brachial Plexus Injury
On rare occasion an injury associated with the birthing process can injure the brachial plexus which is a large group of nerves beneath the collar bone. If the nerve function fails to improve spontaneously, surgical treatment can be valuable in improving function. We have extensive experience in managing brachial plexus injuries both operatively and non-operatively in conjunction with colleagues from Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
