Dr. Cortopassi received his bachelor's degree from Spring Hill College and his medical degree from the University of South Alabama Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at UAB and has been associated with Greenvale Pediatrics since 1980. He is Board certified in pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. His professional and community roles have included Board membership in the Childbirth Education Association of Greater Birmingham and the Parent Advocates -- Down Syndrome, Secretary of the Medical/Dental Staff at Children's Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at Shelby Medical Center. He and his family live in Vestavia Hills.
