BIRMINGHAM (September 12, 2011) – Children’s of Alabama announces that Paula J. Harmon, MD, has been selected as the recipient of the hospital’s first fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology.
Dr. Harmon specializes in diseases of the ear, nose, and throat. She graduated from Spelman College and earned her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, where she received numerous awards and honors. She completed a residency in otolaryngology at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
Dr. Harmon is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Association of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.
