BIRMINGHAM - Children’s of Alabama will be hosting the Journey of the Heart Cardiovascular Conference on Wednesday, Feb. 14, in its Bradley Lecture Center.
The conference is held annually to enhance the understanding of children with congenital and acquired heart disease. The event is free but seating is limited and preregistration is required. The conference begins at 8 a.m. and concludes at 1 p.m. Parking in Children's 5th Avenue Parking Deck and a continental breakfast are included with registration. Featured speakers include Drs. Robert Dabal and David Cleveland. Topics will cover a variety of congenital health and transplant issues. This program has been approved for 5.2 nursing continuing education contact hours by Children's. Children's is approved by the Alabama Board of Nursing as a provider of continuing education in nursing.
