Art from the Heart Holiday Card Collection Returns to Benefit Children’s of Alabama

Holiday cards featuring original works of art from Children’s of Alabama patients are back, and a percentage from the sales benefit Children’s, the state’s only freestanding pediatric medical center.

Each card features patient art on the front and the artist’s name on the back. One artist included in the collection is Rollins Wilkerson, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in 2008 at age 2. After receiving daily treatments of chemotherapy for two years at Children’s, Rollins was declared cancer-free in 2010. Today, she is a healthy 11-year-old and gets to focus on what she enjoys – gymnastics, dancing, and art.

“She’s healthy and we are so thankful to Children’s for everything they did for Rollins,” her mother, Brooke, said.

The cards are printed by, and customers may select a specific department to support at Children’s. Orders include envelopes and prices vary based on quantity and customization. Orders may be fully customized with optional upgrades that include:

  • Foil-lined envelopes
  • Printed return address
  • Option to include a photo
  • Addressing and mailing with provided list
  • Magnetic cards
  • Corporate logos
