MONTGOMERY (March 10, 2014) – Local MIX 103.3 FM radio personalities J.T. and Leanne will kick off the annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals “Music & Miracles” Radiothon as it is broadcast live from the Cumulus Studio (1 Commerce St., Suite 300, Montgomery 36104) Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 13, 6 a.m. till 6 p.m. The event benefits patients at Children’s of Alabama.

During the Radiothon listeners will hear stories of children from the Montgomery area and all across the state who have battled life-threatening illness and injury with the help of the pediatric experts at the state’s only hospital dedicated solely to providing health care to ill and injured children.  Listeners will also meet some of the staff of Children’s who take care of the boys and girls who are treated there.  Last year, families from Montgomery and surrounding counties nearly 15,000  visits to Children’s.

All are invited to personally participate in the Radiothon by calling (334) 262-2300 locally or toll-free at (866) 854-1243 to share their own Children’s stories or make a pledge during Radiothon hours.
