"Raise the Roof for Rett" Builds Awareness, Funds Research for Neurological Disorder

BIRMINGHAM  – Raise the Roof for Rett Presented by Cory Watson Attorneys is set for Saturday, Nov. 1, 6 – 10 p.m. at LINCPoint (101 Oslo Cir., Birmingham 35211.) The annual event, which benefits the Suki Foundation for Rett Syndrome and Rett patients at Children’s of Alabama, will feature live music, dinner, complimentary beverages, a silent auction and a live auction conducted by Ken Jackson.

For the first time, this year’s event will include an online fundraising component. Those who purchase a ticket are provided a fundraising page and encouraged to promote the effort and the event via their own social media outlets. More information is available on the event website.

Rett Syndrome is a neurodevelopmental disorder that predominantly affects girls and causes severe cognitive impairment including loss of communication and fine motor skills, reduced growth, abnormal head growth and unusual breathing patterns.
