BIRMINGHAM - The Protective Life Corporation presents the 13th annual Illuminations Ball on Friday, Nov. 14, at 6 p.m. at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center (3600 Grandview Pkwy, Birmingham 35243) to benefit Children's of Alabama.
The evening will include a seated dinner with holiday dessert stations, live music by Big Daddy's New Band and both silent and live auctions by C King Benefit Auctions. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available at www.ChildrensIlluminations.org or by contacting Shelly McCarty at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Illuminations tree display will take place in both the Children's Russell and McWane lobbies from Nov. 3 to Dec. 1. Approximately 40 spectacular trees will be designed by individuals, companies and organizations from throughout the Birmingham area, many of which are themed. The Illuminations tree program is held each year in conjunction with the Children's of Alabama Illuminations Ball.
Families across the state are invited to visit Children's to see the exquisitely designed Christmas trees, holiday décor and a spirit that encompasses this special time of year. The viewing of the trees is free and open to the public. The display is also a wonderful opportunity to gain inspiration and holiday ideas from the region's top designers.
