Birmingham (July 7, 2014) — Matt Crane of Crane L.I.F.E Fitness will host the “New Year, New You” reveal party on Thursday, July 31 to help raise funds for the Children’s Center for Weight Management (CCWM) at Children’s of Alabama.
The event celebrates the transformation of Lynnsie Mimms, the 2014 winner of the “New Year, New You” contest. As contest winner, Mimms received six months of free personal training with Matt Crane (aka the HurriCrane), voted Birmingham’s Best Personal Trainer by Birmingham Magazine.
On reveal night, guests will hear Mimms’ story and see her transformation after six months of training with Crane. There will be music, food and a silent auction full with all proceeds directly benefitting CCWM.
“We are excited that Crane L.I.F.E Fitness supports CCWM at Children’s, said Cayleigh Cummings, community development coordinator for Children’s. “As a not-for-profit hospital, we depend on the support of our donors, corporate sponsors and friends to help meet the ever-changing healthcare needs of our patients. Every dollar raised has a direct impact on our patients, families and the community which is essential to making Children’s what it is today and what it will be tomorrow.”
Tickets are available in advance for $20 and will be $25 at the door. The event will be held at Iron City (513 22nd St. S., Birmingham). Visit www.lifefitnessbham.com/newyou to learn more about Mimms’ transformation and purchase advance tickets.
