BIRMINGHAM (Oct. 14, 2013) – Children’s of Alabama will host the inaugural Birmingham Nutrition Conference on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 9 a.m. in its Bradley Lecture Center (1600 7th Ave. S., Birmingham, 35233).
The day-long conference, hosted by Children’s Department of Clinical Nutrition, will feature presentations on workplace wellness, community garden, private practice and entrepreneur, weight management and general pediatrics.
Registration is open to the public through Friday, Nov.8. The cost is $25 per participant and $15 for students. Children’s employees are admitted at no cost, but preregistration is required. Complimentary lunch and parking are included with registration. Continuing education units will be provided for registered dietitians.
