TRUSSVILLE (JAN. 05, 2011) - Pediatrics East will announce the groundbreaking of its new location (520 Simmons Drive, Trussville) on Thursday, Jan. 6 at 12:30 p.m. This office will replace its current Roebuck office (1112 Gene Reed Road, Birmingham) for which the lease is expiring.
The new site is scheduled to open in early June. The Deerfoot office will remain at its current location on Pinson Parkway and continue to serve the Clay/Chalkville communities.
"Over the past 25 years, our Gene Reed Road location has served us well; so well, in fact, we have out grown it with patients, staff and technology," said Reginald Hope, Pediatrics East Practice Manager. "We are extremely excited about our new office, and look forward to serving our patient population at our new location."
Pediatrics East moved into the Roebuck location in 1985, and is being constructed with Southpace Properties to accommodate more patients and utilize updated technologies. Founded in East Lake in 1957, by Vincent Carnaggio, MD., Pediatrics East has grown from one physician to nine (Drs. David Fugazzotto; Phillip Harmon; Diane Dietlein; Mark Lytle; Michael Miller; Peily Soong; Rebecca Webster; Angela Redmond; Gigi Youngblood)and is now caring for third-generation patients.
