BIRMINGHAM (July 26, 2012) – Guests can enjoy sales, seminars and celebrations at the seventh annual Babypalooza baby and maternity expo on Saturday, Aug. 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Vincent’s One Nineteen (7191 Cahaba Valley Road, 35242). This family-friendly event presented by Children’s of Alabama will provide local resources for expecting parents, new parents and growing families with young children.
As Central Alabama’s only baby and maternity expo and market, Babypalooza will feature more than 100 exhibits, educational opportunities, prizes and shopping. Guests can browse the latest baby products, participate in contests, talk to health representatives about child and women’s health and pregnancy issues or enjoy cooking demonstrations all in one high-energy and fun environment.
A child health expo will be conducted by Children’s of Alabama with representatives from several of the clinics within the hospital. Experts from a dozen Children’s clinics will be on hand to talk about services and answer questions, including Early Intervention, Poison Control, Hearing and Speech, Injury Prevention, Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, CHIPS Clinic and the Medical Autism Clinic. St. Vincent’s is also sponsoring a Women’s Health Expo featuring physician-lead health seminars, cooking demonstrations along with demonstrations of yoga, spin and hula hoop.
