BIRMINGHAM (June 20, 2012)- Panera Bread will host the area’s largest lemonade stand as part of its Lemon-Aid for Kids event on July 14 and 15.
During this inaugural event, customers can indulge in a glass of Panera Bread’s fresh, home-style lemonade for a donation of $1 or more. Volunteers and employees will be serving the beverages at stands in front of each restaurant. The event will last from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“The goal is to create as much awareness as possible to help generate the biggest customer donations possible,” Robin Franklin, marketing specialist at Panera Bread, said.
All Birmingham Panera Bread locations are participating in the event, with the proceeds benefitting Children’s of Alabama.

• Summit Boulevard, Birmingham
• Doug Baker Boulevard, Birmingham
• Colonial Drive, Alabaster
• Main Street, Hoover
• Montgomery Highway, Vestavia Hills
• McFarland Boulevard, Tuscaloosa
