Respiratory Therapists

LaShonna (Ross) Stodghill MAE, RRT, LRT

I received my Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy at Florida A&M University in April 1992.  I  started working at Children's Hospital as a Special Care Unit Therapist in August 1992.  For 10 years I worked in Special Care, PICU/Burn Unit, 5th floor, and just about every area in the hospital.  I received my Master of Arts in Health Education at UAB in December 2002.  I have been with the Pulmonary Division since March 2003. I do education, equipment referrals, and discharge planning with the CF, BPD, and Asthma population. In my spare time, I love to exercise, travel and read.

Stephanie Gamble, RRT

I began my career at Children's in 2005 in the pharmacy.  In 2007 I moved to the respiratory department and worked in acute care.  I completed an internship on 5 Tower and moved to the Pulmonary Lab in 2009.  In 2010 I had the opportunity to become part of the CF team.  I am now a member of the infant pulmonary function team, and do CF education, equipment referrals, discharge planning and research with the CF team.  Outside of Children's, I am also an EMT, scuba diver, wife and mom.  In my personal time I enjoy spending time with my family and playing softball.
