Non-Offending Caregivers Education and Support Group
This winter, the CHIPS Center will be offering a group for non-offending caregivers of children who have a history of being abused. After a disclosure of abuse is made, typically caregivers focus on the needs of their children to the exclusion of themselves. This group is intended to offer education and support to guardians as they work towards healing from what is often one of the most difficult situations that a parent will ever have to endure.
